Print Friendly

If you are a regular reader of On The Home Front you know I am celebrating the one-year blogiversary of On The Home Front during the month of October. Each week there will be a giveaway relating to the four different topics I write about; Frugal Tips, My Garden, Prudent Pantry and the Recipe Box.

WonderMill Grain Mill

This week the giveaway is a brand new WonderMill Grain Mill! I am currently taking part in the Grain Mill Challenge and WonderMill was kind enough to send me a grain mill. Since I already own one I decided to give it away to one of my readers.

The WonderMill is the world’s #1 rated electric grain mill. I have been using one for years and just love it. It is easy to work, clean, fast, powerful and is long lasting! With your own grain mill you can cook your favorite recipes using the great taste of 100% whole grain goodness.

The WonderMill is also great for making gluten-free flours such as brown rice, white rice, sorghum, quinoa, millet, amaranth, bean, corn or other gluten free flours. This Friday  I will be featuring a recipe using wild rice flour which I made using my WonderMill.

Once you get used to the taste of your recipes using fresh milled flour you will wonder how you lived without it!

  • Julia Janzen says:

Who wouldn’t want to win a grain mill?!!! We’ve went gluten free this year and some of the alternative “flours” are kind of pricey so this would be a welcome addition to our home. :)

  • Sandra G. says:

I love to grind my own wheat, my mill and mix had issues last week when making bread and I started to panic.

  • Jackie Watson says:

  • Ann Kroeker says:

All I have is a borrowed hand-grinder that takes a very long time to produce a usable quantity of flour. I was baking whole wheat bread from scratch and just sort of ran out of motivation. I would LOVE to have the Wondermill. Wow, that would change our family’s life! Plus, I am currently off gluten while trying to sort through food intolerances and allergies, so having the mill would allow me to make some alternate flours (and save me money).

Thank you for entering me in the giveaway! I will be thrilled–I mean, flipped-out, somersaulting, happy-dance squealing THRILLED–to win!

  • Angel says:

I would love this, I have been gluten free since May, but have been learning that fresh ground flour can actually not have the same gluten effect like store bought bread. Would love to try it, and if I still can’t have wheat then it will be perfect for gluten free flours, thanks
